Angela’s Weekend Style Transformation

At 23, Angela was ready to evolve her wardrobe beyond her college-era basics and create a style that felt more polished, feminine, and elevated without losing the fun, effortless side of her personality.

As a dental hygienist in Seattle, Angela spends most of her workweek in scrubs, which left her feeling disconnected from her personal style outside of work. Her weekend wardrobe mainly consisted of jeans, yoga pants, and t-shirts. These are comfortable staples she found herself wearing on repeat. While practical, her outfits no longer reflected how she wanted to feel in this next stage of life.

Angela wanted a wardrobe that felt mature but never stiff, stylish but still approachable. She came to me looking for guidance in finding pieces that felt elegant, flirty, and versatile while still fitting naturally into her lifestyle.

Through her body shape, color, and style personality analysis, I discovered that Angela looked best in a primarily neutral wardrobe accented with intentional pops of color and texture. Her ideal palette aligned beautifully with cool winter tones that complemented her complexion and brought brightness to her features.

To build her new wardrobe, I focused on:

  • Soft, comfortable fabrics that still felt refined
  • Elevated basics that could easily mix and match
  • Feminine silhouettes that complemented her athletic frame
  • Accessories with texture and color to add personality and dimension
  • Outfits that created a clear distinction between “work mode” and “weekend Angela”

The result was a wardrobe that felt confident, elevated, and authentically her, making getting dressed for weekends, dinners, and nights out feel exciting again.
